What is Fiona PDO Mono Threads ?
PDO(Polydioxanone) Mono threads are smooth threads without barbs which can be inserted into the skin in a mesh-like pattern, to help increase skin tightness. Between 10-20 of these threads can be inserted into the skin to help encourage skin tightening and rejuvenation. The threads are attached to an “anchoring point” of the scalp or face. Mono threads however, are said to tighten the skin but not significantly lift it which is why they are typically combined with cog threads for more lifting effect.
